biOasis Announces Closing of Private Placement

biOasis Technologies Inc. (TSX.V: BTI) (the “Company”) – is pleased to announce that it has closed its private placement announced on November 25, 2011. The Company has issued a total of 2,571,942 units (the “Units”) at a price of $0.45 per Unit for gross proceeds of $1,157,374. Each Unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company exercisable until November 30, 2013. The Warrants are exercisable at a price of $0.60 per Share if exercised at any time up to and including November 30, 2012 and at a price of $0.70 per Share if exercised at any time after November 30, 2012 until the expiry date of November 30, 2013. A cash finders’ fee of $75,268 was paid on a portion of the financing. All securities issued are subject to a hold period expiring March 31, 2012. The net proceeds from the sale of units have been added to working capital in furtherance of the Company's business.

biOasis announces Non-Brokered Private Placement

biOasis Technologies Inc. (TSX: V BTI) is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 2,250,000 units at a price of $0.45 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $1,012,500 with an overallotment of up to 20%. Each unit will consist of one common share and one full common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company for a period of twenty four months from the Closing Date. The Warrants are exercisable at an exercise price of $0.60 per share for the first twelve months and at an exercise price of $0.70 per share for the subsequent twelve months. The proceeds from the sale of units will be added to working capital in furtherance of the Company's business.

biOasis Enters Research, Evaluation and Option Agreement with Shire Human Genetic Therapies, Inc.

biOasis Technologies Inc. (TSX:V.BTI) announced today that it has entered into a research, evaluation and option agreement with Shire Human Genetic Therapies, Inc. (Shire) to evaluate biOasis’s Transcend technology in the area of lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs). In connection with this agreement, biOasis and Shire are undertaking certain experiments at their own expense and Shire has been granted certain options to obtain a license to biOasis’ Transcend technology on mutually agreeable terms.

biOasis Transcend Vector Delivers an Anti-Amyloid Beta (Aβ) Antibody To The Brain

biOasis Technologies Inc. (TSX:V.BTI) today announced test results from its Transcend therapeutic development program directed towards the delivery of targeted therapeutic compounds to the brain which showed that Transcend can deliver an anti-amyloid beta antibody to the brain. biOasis Announces Transcend Vector Results On Delivery of Herceptin® to the Brain

This brain imaging study was conducted by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and involved intravenous administration to mice of fluorescently labeled BT2111 or trastuzumab alone. The measurement of fluorescent labeled BT2111 in the brain two hours post injection confirmed that trastuzumab was carried by Transcend across the blood-brain barrier In contrast trastuzumab by itself did not distribute to the brain tissue.

biOasis announces completion of acquisition of Intellectual Property

On August 5, 2011, the closing date, the Company paid $25,000 in cash and issued 350,000 warrants at an exercise price of $0.575 and 100,000 warrants at an exercise price of $0.50. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share of the Company for a period of five years from the date of issuance. All of the warrants issued are subject to a hold period expiring December 6, 2011.

biOasis Announces Transcend Vector Results with a Therapeutic Antibody That Targets Metastatic Breast Cancer
In the first set of studies conducted for biOasis by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), the transport of trastuzumab and BT2111 across the blood-brain barrier was compared using real-time fluorescence imaging. The results showed that trastuzumab does not actively enter human brain endothelial cells in vitro.

biOasis Receives Verification That Transcend Localizes To a Number of Cell Types in the Brain
As reported previously, the NRC demonstrated with real-time in vivo fluorescence imaging that Transcend, the Company's proprietary drug delivery technology, is able to carry fluorescent dye molecules across the blood brain barrier. The fluorescent dye that was used in the NRC experiments is larger than typical small molecule drugs, which suggests that Transcend has the potential to transport biologics across the blood brain barrier. In recent years the pharmaceutical industry has succeeded in developing biologic therapies, but remains challenged in using these to treat brain diseases and disorders.

The NRC study used the Company’s Transcend carrier coupled to a dye that is visible during imaging procedures.  The dye-labeled Transcend carrier was administered and observed using real time imaging as it crossed the blood-brain barrier and migrated inside the brain cells.

biOasis Poster Being Presented at 17th Annual Blood-Brain Barrier Consortium Meeting
The poster provides a summary of key scientific accomplishments achieved by the Company, including results from its recent collaborations with the University of British Columbia and the National Research Council of Canada. The data from these collaborations further demonstrated that conjugations developed under the biOasis Transcend program cross the blood-brain barrier more efficiently than is possible with other approaches, that the conjugates enter the brain tissue, and that a conjugate incorporating doxorubicin increased survival time in animal models of glioblastoma, the most common and most aggressive type of primary brain tumor in humans.

Working in collaboration with Fleet Bioprocessing and OxFabs (Oxford, UK), the Company generated numerous antibodies and assessed their performance in prototype assays. Shareholder Update - 2010 Year in Review
Potential significant increase in level or concentration of therapeutics transported across BBB
2010 saw the completion of two Collaborative research programs with The University of British Columbia. Key findings emerged from both of these programs. The most exciting discovery was that the earlier observation that the amount of p97 that was transported across the Blood- Brain Barrier in an animal model was significantly underestimated.
